Your Tea, My Tea, Our Tea: Tiny Tea!

Let’s have a chat about Tiny Tea why don’t we! So I refused to say that I started drinking the Tiny Tea as a means to support some type of New Years Resolution. But I did allow myself to kick start 2015 trying out this tea. I ordered Tiny Tea as I am a tea drinker and social media has hyped this bad gal up that I said to myself, “why not?” Well “why not?” has worked out pretty good for myself.

I started drinking Tiny Tea as recommended 30 minutes prior to eating. I have quite the commute to work takes me 35-50 minutes. Therefore, what I do is prep up my tea at home and enjoy it on the drive to work while Audible plays on the background. I am a music junkie and music relaxes me a whole lot but ever since I started tuning in to Audible thanks to Mimi Ikonn’s recommendation of a great book to check out in her November Faves vid I gave in and it’s been 3x more relaxing. By the time I get to work it’s time to eat breakfast. I am well aware breakfast is “the” most important meal of our day but I personally don’t like stuffing my face in the AM’s so the tea alone is enough for me. What I have been doing is leaving Chobani yogurts that come with nuts or the Activia Light yogurts at work to have as a small breakfast and a glass of water.

How I drink my tea: I add honey. I specifically drink chamomile tea to soothe my anxiety, nervous system, for a good night sleep, and/or to help calm my tummy if I’m feeling a bug coming on and I always pair it with honey. It is also recommended by Your Tea that you can have this tea if not with honey, with a bit of lemon. While on the 14 Day Tiny Teatox I have not been mixing other teas, just so the Tiny Tea can do its own thing and for me to clearly see the differences if they are going to happen. If I felt like I needed chamomile tea I would skip the Tiny Tea.

Changes I’ve definitely noticed are my face is slowly clearing up on me. My cheeks have been incredible pinkish lately and seem to be more winter cold harsh weather related or mild stressors from my day to day. I’ve also felt a bit of a mild upset stomach in the AM after I drink Your Tea. Yet, these are small things worth the yuckiness just to see the end results. I’ve also noticed that now I am more okay with not snacking as much and eating after 7 PM. Now I am not saying the tea has worked a miracle but I do believe the combination of the tea before my meals and the water I’m drinking throughout the day constantly has helped make me feel fuller and not crave sugars like I used to.
