OCC meets Maybelline

Hello beauties!

Let’s dive right in shall we?

The Goodies:

  1. OCC Lip Tar – Narcissus
  2. Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush – 20 Peach Satin

I hope at this point we all have discovered the high-pigmented & 100% vegan Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic’s Lip Tars, also referred to as O.C.C because in deed they are amazing! The one I am currently trying out is shown above, Narcissus, and it gives me the perfect matte finish! Okay, yes I know! We don’t all love that matte ghost lip but if you are like me obsessed with owning a ton of lip products then you’ll definitely find your perfect mix to glaze your lips with to give this beautiful color some shine. I myself love to add the Josie Maran Argan Luscious Lips shine gloss over this OCC for a very pretty look.

Now, let’s talk blush! I usually shop at places like Sephora (which I adore and work for <3) and also Ulta which carry affordable brands to pricey ones. On the days when I feel like purchasing makeup and don’t want to break the bank entirely I have my go-to’s for this situation. For our luck there’s brands out there who loves us! Maybelline is one of them, and they really love their customers. I must say I am surprised with how much I am obsessed with these cute packaging and the quality. The blush does just what it says, bounces off your fingers leaving behind a nice tint of color to dab onto those cheeks. And yes, I like to use my fingertips with this product, it’s fun! Just remember to wash your hands prior to touching your face to keep those germs away!

The Prices:

  1. OCC Lip Tars: Online on Sephora for $16 (its worth it, just close your eyes and do it plus sign up for Sephora’s Beauty Insider card and you’ll end up earning points and receiving goodies all the time, especially for birthdays!
  2. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes: $7.99 but I found a better deal for you beauties, you can snag these at Target online for $6.44- $6.99 ( Spend $50 & get free shipping- current promotion). Thank me later!

These are a must have in your makeup collection!

Oh my gosh. You work at Sephora? Lucky girl! So lucky. I’ve been wanting to try the Bouncy Blush. I read some ehh reviews on Makeup Alley, but your post makes me want to take the plunge. I think I will for a reviews sake & to sate my curiosity.

Yes! I’m glad to see you are a Sephora lover too! That’s the thing about blogs it’s based off of personal opinions but I really do love how it works for me. You get what you pay for, so I’m not going to go compare to a Chanel blush of course! But, for the price and if you select the right color for you then you’ll for sure get a nice color. I do mix the Maybelline blush sometimes with other blushes for an extra kick of color when I feel like having fun with my makeup. I say go for it! Let me know how you like it 🙂
